2.2.1 Plastic Cup Thermoforming Machine
It is mainly used to from PP/HIPS/PET/PVC sheet into various kinds of disposable plastic cups, such as hot/cold drinking cup, ice-cream cup, yoghurt cup, jelly cup, etc. It could also make some regular shape products, such as plate, bowl, cover, dish, box, etc with different moulds.
The stretching of plug inside of the upper mould is controlled by air cylinder and we could also make servomotor instead of air cylinder as your requirement.
The sheet feeding is driven by pin chain. The pin chain is controlled by motor with inverter and the feeding length is controlled by parameter setting through touch screen. We could also make servomotor instead of motor with gearbox as your requirement.
It adopts two pillars to fix the mould. We could adopt four pillars to fix the mould.
The up mould is fixed and the down mould movement is driven by hydraulic pressure. Temperature controller module controls each temperature area.
It can finish production at one time through sheet feeding, heating, stretching, forming and in-mould cutting.
We adopt square steel to make the machine frame.
The mould for cup thermoforming machine includes upper mould and lower mould.
Plastic sheet is heated until it becomes pliable and put on the lower mould when the plugs of upper mould go inside the lower mould.
At the same time, the air will give pressure to keep sheet close to the molding chamber in order to make the plastic products well formed.
Then cut and eject from mould and blow the formed products outside.
The mould also has a water cooling system integrated into it that brings the temperature of the plastic to the set temperature needed.
In a word, cup thermoforming machine utilizes the plugs of upper mould and air compressed to form.
